Sanéqui Colon.jpgSanéqui COLON

This palatable muesli is suitable for horses with a disturbed intestinal flora in the caecum and large intestines.

An unhealthy, unstably intestinal flora can lead to colic by gas production or gas accumulation in the intestines, and/or it can lead to laminitis. The production and accumulation of gas is sometimes accompanied by thin manure or diarrhoea. In many cases the intestinal flora can be improved by feeding longstemmed hay. However, not in all cases this will be satisfactory and a ration of only hay can be too poor in nutrients.

Sanéqui Colon consists of all nutrients that the horse requires, in the right concentration, completed with extra nutrients for improvement of the hoof quality and for recovery after illness. Specific fibers and the life yeast culture optimize the intestinal flora, and so the fermentation in both caecum and colon. The low concentration of processed starch results in a minimal risk that undigested starch passes through to the large intestine.

The formulation of Sanéqui Colon make it also an excellent feed to support treatment and prevention of gastric ulcers. The patient will intensively chew on this Diet, thus producing a high volume of saliva. A ration with Sanéqui colon will lead to gradual entry of feed in the stomach, and a homogenous, well buffered gastric content.

You feed Sanéqui Colon preferably in combination with longstemmed hay.
